Shooter Video Games in Europe
center
When you love video games, it is hard to explain the extent of your passion to those who are not familiar with them. For most non-gamers, video games represent an idea of a childish pastime that everyone should get over sooner or later when they become an adult. They see them as colorful and interesting on some basic level, but not more than, for example, children鈥檚 cartoons or comics.
People like these believe that gaming should be practiced as a leisure pastime during the education years and then abandoned, like any other child-related endeavor. For me, however, the same process took a very different turn and one that I am grateful for that each and every day.
I grew up in a northern part of Europe
Traveling regularly with my parents, who were marketing executives with plenty of different postings across the EU. In that period, my education was often cut short after only a year or even six months when my parents, with some new advertising project in the works, decided to move once again. At first, this was tough for me because I had difficulties making friends.
But, because I was growing up in the age of the Internet, I soon found a new way to make permanent friends regardless of my place of residence. The same option came in the form of video games that were played online, with thousands of other people from all over the world, not just Europe.
I tried a whole lot of different shooter games
But I soon found myself drawn to the shooter video games. They provided the first-person experience of going to combat, and it gave me the thrill and exhilaration I was looking for. It did not matter the game placed me on a helicopter transportation that was sending me to the heart of an active war zone or if I was fighting aliens on some strange and distant world; it was all exceedingly fun for me.
At the same time, I was attaining the friendship I was looking for, creating and maintaining contact with a group of incredible people across all continents. We all loved first person shooters and shooter video games in general, which is what provided the basis for our lasting friendship.
Shooter video games are my favorite.
Oh, awesome. Mine too. We should play together here in Europe sometime.
I #8217;m really good at making smart decisions and saving money #8230;in video games.

Video Games and Astronomy are My Biggest Passion
In Europe Teaching Video Games
As I grow older, I started my university education
Naturally, I chose computer programming as my main field of interest. While my parents were in advertising and marketing, I knew back then that I wanted to pursue a career in video games however I could. But, it goes without saying that many others in my class wanted to do something very similar to this and we all had the same amount of programming experience.
While this was true, I had a whole lot more experience in shooter video games because, at that point, I was playing almost on a professional level over the internet, often winning cash prizes. In the year I finished university and got my diploma I decided to give electronic sports and my competitive gaming everything I have because I had a plan what to do with the money I would earn.
That is why I applied myself fully to shooter gaming
Entering competitive tournaments and even becoming a part of the professional team of first person shooter players. Finally, in a big tournament, I won a cash prize that was huge. But, instead of spending it on a flashy car or something similar I decided to stick to my plan and create a game development business.
I decided to go for this because I realized that my background and experience could help me design the ultimate shooter game. That is why I used the money I saved up to assemble a team of fantastic game developers and we set up on that mission. It took us more than two years of raising additional money and making the game look and play as best as we could, but finally, we published our shooter and in less than a week it became a massive hit. It started selling great across Europe and quickly went big in the US, Japan and all over the globe.
Today, we have more than a dozen successful shooter games under our belt; and I could not be happier. With some dedication and determination, I was able to utilize all of my skills in the way that made me a successful game development business. I still live in Europe with my family and all of us enjoy life to the fullest, knowing that video games allowed for that to happen.
