Oysters Parmesan #MakeItYours!
Do you like oysters? If you do, how do you like it served? I didn't like oysters when I was younger, but as I grew older, I've learned to love this jewel from the sea. And my favorite way to enjoy them? Oysters Parmesan! I've tried a lot of recipes, but this recipe from Food Network is the best so far. Instead of using regular butter, though, I used Original Country Crock #174; buttery spread. I love that this has less fat and calories than butter. #MakeItYours!
Ingredients:
Cheese Topping:
2 cups grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
2 tablespoons granulated garlic
2 lemons, zested and juiced
1 bunch Italian parsley, chopped
!Garlic Finishing Butter:
1/2 cup Original Country Crock #174; buttery spread
1 cup fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup hot sauce, such as the Louisiana brand
1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup chopped garlic
2 tablespoons granulated garlic
24 oysters, shucked on the half shell
Directions:
For the cheese topping: Mix the Parmesan, mozzarella, garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest and parsley in a bowl and reserve for later use.
For the finishing butter: Place the buttery spread, lemon juice, hot sauce, Worcestershire, chopped garlic, granulated garlic and 1/2 cup water into a small pot on the stove. Slowly melt and whisk ingredients until incorporated.
For the oysters: Preheat the grill until it is very hot, about 400 degrees F.
Top each oyster with a liberal amount of the cheese mixture. Carefully place the oysters on the grill and close. Cook until the cheese is melted and the oysters are starting to get some color, about 10 minutes.
Remove the oysters from the grill with tongs and place them on a cookie sheet or a heat-proof surface.
Arrange 6 oysters per plate or leave on the large platter. Ladle some melted garlic butter over the oysters.
Serve with grilled bread to soak up the juices and butter!

General Tips To Choose A Great Lawyer
Tweet
No matter the situation you are in and why you want to hire a lawyer, the truth is that there are so many things that will need to be taken into account. Unfortunately, in most cases people hire those that are really aggressive, not those that are very good. Since you surely want to be faced with a quality that is similar to that of Khan Law Firm, here are some really useful general tips that will help you to choose the very best possible lawyer.
Specialization
It is vital that your considered lawyer is specialized in the law area that you need help with. You cannot hire a lawyer that is specialized in divorce when you want to file an injury claim. Your chances of success would go way down. The big problem in many cases is that people believe all attorneys can help. If they hear that a friend had a lawyer, they would get references for that lawyer. This only leads to a long period when the search is not productive. You should only consider the attorneys with the proper specialization.
Experience
Analyzing the experience of a lawyer is something that is quite obvious. You do not really want to hire a novice attorney in most situations. If the problem is important for you, experience has to be analyzed. The problem is that many do not know exactly what this analysis means. You are basically interested in learning all that you can about the education of the attorney and for how long he/she has been active representing clients.
The good news is that you can so easily learn information about the experience of the attorney. Such information is available for free for anyone that looks for it. Be sure you take as much time as possible to be sure that the individual you hire as your attorney will be experienced enough to add value to the case.
Prices
Prices tend to vary a lot from one lawyer to the next. In most cases the factors that highly influence the price is the law firm that the attorney works for, the experience of the attorney and the success rates noticed in the past. All of these go hand in hand. As you look at how much you are about to pay for the services of the attorney, the really important thing is to receive the best possible quality for the prices.
We should highlight that in many cases there are some alternative payment options that are available. For instance, the attorney may allow you to pay based on a payment plan or it is possible to simply not pay anything as the fee of the attorney is a percentage of how much money is gained for you.
Conclusions
It is not that easy to choose that great attorney you surely want. You need to consider all the facts mentioned above and you will need to always be a little patient. Knowing all the available options is something that counts the most at the end of the day.

Lifestyle Changes To Help You Deal With Varicose Veins
Tweet
Every single person out there can agree with the fact that varicose veins are not attractive. That is quite obvious. However, what is not obvious is that they are totally uncomfortable. You can easily end up having to deal with various physical symptoms. This includes swelling, night cramps and pain.
The really good news is that you can treat varicose veins. There are so many medical and natural treatment options that are available for you right now. The bad news is that you will also need to make lifestyle changes. This is where things normally get tough for people. In some cases the veins will not be completely eliminated. Even so, it is possible that you will improve the discomfort by making the modifications mentioned below. You want to consider this.
Exercising
You need to increase blood flow. This can be done in various ways but daily physical activity or at least exercising every 2 days will help the calf muscles. Veins will find it a lot easier to move the blood and regular exercise also has many other benefits you will surely enjoy. Doctors always recommend that you consider biking, swimming or simply walking. Varicose will be improved through exercising.
Losing Weight
The more weight you have, the tougher it is for the body to move blood. Lower leg veins end up faced with more pressure that they can deal with. As time passes, the veins will wear out. Being overweight means that the efficiency of all varicose veins treatment options will be reduced. That is why it is vital that you lose extra pounds. That will also keep future vein development at vein. Just lose extra pounds and choose the treatment that you like the most.
The Importance Of Elevation
When the work day is over, elevate your legs. That will remove pressure since normal positions make it worse due to the effect of gravity. If you are faced with some uncomfortable symptoms like swelling, elevation will do wonders. Just lie down and add pillows under the legs. You end up with improved circulation and various other benefits.
The Importance Of Position
The risk of ending up with the varicose veins is drastically increased when faced with long periods of time when you sit or stand. If you already have to deal with the condition, the veins will be worse in the future. Try not to stay too long in just one position. Incorporate stretching routines whenever you can. Also, remember about elevating legs as the possibility appears. All these positional modifications will help you.
What You Wear
The last thing we should mention is that tighter clothing will restrict circulation. That only adds to the stress that the legs deal with. Veins need to not be influenced by tight underwear and constricting waistbands. Make sure that you avoid high heels. Wearing flat shoes is normally a lot better, especially when you want to work out. Simply walking in flat shoes can offer an increased physical level activity.

How To Find A Great Dentist When You Need Veneers
Tweet
There are so many different things that can be said about how to choose a great dentist for your specific situation. The problem is that many believe that all the dentists are the same. This is definitely not the case. In fact, there are limitations to the procedures that a specific professional can handle. You want to learn all that you can about the procedure and about the dentist in order to be sure that your choice is the proper one.
You need to consider the actual procedure that you will go through. A dentist may be much better than another for a specific procedure. With veneers, you want to look at those dentists that can offer really great dental veneers. If you want to do this, here are the factors you want to remember:
Making A List Of Local Specialized Dentists
You want to consider those that close to where you live since you want to establish a relationship with the dentist. This is because some follow-ups may be necessary and you want to set up a good maintenance check-up schedule. Start by making a list of the dentists that offer dental veneers where you live. For instance, if you live in Fort Worth, look for veneer services in Fort Worth. Focus on those that are specialized in cosmetic dentistry for the best possible results.
Checking Experience And Portfolio
This is the most important step that you have to take. It is vital that you learn all that you can about the experience of the considered cosmetic dentist. This is done by looking at the portfolio. Every single specialist out there will be able to present before and after pictures. It is something that the dentist can be proud about. If there is no portfolio that was built, you want to ask about the experience. You are practically interested in success rate and how many dental veneers were performed in the past.
Asking About Veneer Types
There are many different types of veneers that are available at the moment. Some cosmetic dentists have a higher experience with some options when compared with others. For instance, some may be specialized in offering porcelain dental veneers. This is another experience related factor of high importance that you have to consider in order to make the best possible decision.
Prices
You will obviously be interested in how much you will pay for your veneers. However, most people do not properly understand how to analyze price. It is normal to pay more when the experience of the dentist is higher and when the materials are of a higher quality. You want to basically compare prices between similar offers to see which one is the most advantageous. At the same time, you do want to ask about the possibility of setting out monthly payments or see if the procedure will be covered by your insurance when working with a specific dentist. If you take this approach and you also consider the factors above, you will surely find a great cosmetic surgeon that you can trust.

Cooking with Filippo Berio #OLIVEyouFB
Tweet
Since I've been diagnosed with a gallstone (July 2015), I have not been eating pork and beef. I only cook with omega3 rich oils like extra virgin olive oil. (And when we're talking about EVOO, Filippo Berio is one of my favorite brands.) I also encourage my family to avoid fatty and oily food.
I was recently sent a bottle of Filippo Berio Extra Virgin Olive Oil courtesy of Influenster. Salt and Pepper Pork is one of our favorite dishes, but since we're eating more fish, I've thought of making it using Tilapia instead of pork ribs. Well, it turned out really good and my family loved it.
Salt and Pepper Tilapia
Ingredients
1 to 2 Tilapia, cleaned
2 tablespoons chicken powder
1/2 teaspoon Five Spice powder
1/2 teaspoon ground white pepper
1 tablespoon sugar
Pinch of salt
1 medium onion, diced
2 tablespoons scallions or spring onions, cut into 1 inch strips
Olive Oil for frying
Directions
Mix together first five ingredients.
Dry rub pork slices with the mixture and let sit 30 minutes to 1 hour.
Leave some of the mixture for the onions.
Fry the fishes until golden brown, set aside.
Using the same pan, saute diced onions until soft.
Add scallions or spring onions and saute for a few seconds more.
Add remaining dry rub to pan, stir.
Lastly, add the fried fishes and mix well.
Transfer to a serving platter.
Enjoy!
I hope you will try it because it's really good. If you're not used to cooking a whole fish, you can try the Tilapia fillet or any other fish fillet you prefer. If you've tried it, let me know what you think of the dish through your comments.

Review: Honeywell #174; Console Humidifier
Tweet
I was very excited when I found out I am one of the lucky bloggers who will be sent a Honeywell #174; Console Humidifier VoxBox. It arrived on my doorstep a week later. Watch the unboxing below.
object

First off, the Honeywell #174; Console Humidifier looks very elegant. I love the black color and it will easily match the theme of any room. It was very easy to set up. You only need to fill the machine with water, turn it on and that's it. True to its claim, the Honeywell #174; Console Humidifier has a runtime of 24 hours. It has two water tanks that add up to 3 gallons. You only need to refill the tanks once and it will be good for 24 hours. One feature that I love is it automatically shuts itself off when it runs out of water. You don't have to worry about the machine burning up.
Although a little bulky in size, I like that it is lightweight. I can easily carry it around. Filling it with water is easy as well. You can either take out the tanks, bring it to the sink and refill or just take a pail and pour the water in the tanks.
We have been using the Honeywell #174; Console Humidifier for more than a week now and there have not been a lot of sneezing lately. We have a whole slew of allergy sufferers at home and sneezing is a common scene every morning. I also noticed that there is not as much static in the air. The only flaw is that it's a bit louder than the one we are currently using, but that isn't really a problem.
Overall, the Honeywell #174; Console Humidifier is a great product. I love it and it works for my family. If you are looking for a nice humidifier to keep the in your home clean and avoid allergies, I highly recommend this.
You can purchase the Honeywell #174; Console Humidifier through Amazon and Walmart.

Simple Ways to Save Money
Tweet
Saving money should be practiced early in life. It's something that helps prepare our kids for their future. That's probably why my parents also started teaching me how to save money even when I was just in grade school. I remember them asking me to save at least 10 bucks from my daily allowance and what do you know, soon after I had enough to buy myself my own toys. That feeling made motivated me to save more and as I grew up I used the same mindset to help me save for the things that I want. As a kid, I felt empowered knowing that I didn't have to ask my parents for money all the time. I mean, doesn't it "up" your pride a bit?
Anyway, as I grew older, of course the place where I put my savings also change. From a cute piggy bank to a wallet I leave at home... to a savings account in a bank I trust, like Capital One. It has to be a bank that gives you the most options for your savings account. Since you pretty much want to see that savings grow and not just sit inside a safe until it's needed. What I like about Capital One though, isn't just the way they handle my money, but also the fact that they make an effort for their customers to learn how to save or handle their money through financial literacy programs. This is something that would help a lot in terms of making sure you know what you're doing with the money you work hard for.
Disclosure: I was compensated to share some tips on how to save money.

My Thoughts
The anti aging cream has a mild scent. It has a nice, creamy consistency, but it is not sticky. It is easy to apply and the skin absorbs it quickly. I like that the cream does not leave a shiny look. I have oily skin and an added shine is definitely not needed.
A little goes a long way for this one, so you can be sure that your bottle will last a long time. I love how it leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated. I used it at night and woke up with a plump skin. It's only been a week and I guess, it's too early to say if it works to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. What I did notice is my pores have slightly reduced.
Overall, I love what this moisturizer does to my skin. It's a very gentle product and it doesn't feel heavy on the face. For those who use makeup, this works. If you are looking for an anti aging product to keep your skin well hydrated, this is a good product to try.
Where to buy?
You can purchase the Anti Aging Moisturizer by Peels and Petals through Amazon.

Product Review: Argan Oil by Jaowying Beauty
Tweet
I first discovered Argan Oil last year, when I was invited by one company to review their product. I was amazed at how it deeply moisturized and hydrated my skin and hair and since then, I've been using the oil. Today's review is another Argan Oil, this time, it's from Jaowying Beauty.
About the Product
*USDA certified organic argan oil (100% pure) body, hair and face treatment; Imported from morocco; Bottled in the U.S.A
*Jaowying Beauty argan oil is produced using the highest standards in the industry; Cold pressed; Unrefined; All natural; Unscented
*FAST ABSORBING amp; LONG LASTING: Absorbs instantly without leaving an oily film on your face or hair. Leaves your Face, Skin amp; Hair feeling smooth amp; silky
*GET RADIANT GLOWING COMPLEXION amp; HAIR: This Argan Oil is Perfect for All Skin Conditions; Especially Dry Skin, Split Ends, Frizzy Hair and More. Your skin and hair will be instantly nourished and revitalized!
*MULTIPURPOSE: Use with Damaged or Brittle HAIR. Use on SKIN to enrich and keep healthy skin tones. Use on FACE for moisturizing and hydration. Use on NAILS to strengthen and restore color and health.
My Thoughts
The Argan oil from Jaowying Beauty has no scent. For me, this is a plus because it won't mix with scent of my shampoo. I have thick and wavy hair and right after showering, while my skin and hair are still damp, I apply Argan Oil. It helps my skin as well as my hair feel soft and silky smooth. I love how this oil tames my frizzy hair without making it look greasy.
I also noticed that my nails are stronger now. I don't grow my nails because they chip easily, but after using Argan Oil, they look healthier and they don't chip off anymore.
Overall, I love this oil. If you are looking for a product to keep your hair and skin moisturized and make your nails stronger. This is a good product to try. It's gentle on the skin because it's 100 percent Argan Oil and it doesn't contain any harmful chemicals.
Where to buy?
You can purchase the Argan Oil by Jaowying Beauty through Amazon.

Product Review: 100% USDA Organic Ultra Hydrating Face Moisturizer
Tweet
Proper skin care means washing your face with a mild facial cleanser, cleaning it up with a good toner and applying moisturizer to keep it hydrated. I used to skip the last because I always find moisturizers oily and sticky. But when I got fortyish, I didn't have much choice. If I want to delay the signs of aging, I just have to use a moisturizer. Today's discussion is about the Organic amp; Vegan Ultra Hydrating Facial Moisturizer by Nouveau/Organica.
Product Description
- No Animal Ingredients : Our vegan moisturizer is always 100% vegan. Never tested on animals.
- Gluten-Free, Soy-Free, Dairy-Free: This all-natural face moisturizer is also gluten-free, soy-free and dairy-free, perfect for those with allergies and sensitivities.
- Packed with Vitamins and Nutrients : Only pure, raw, food grade, unrefined and unprocessed vegan plant-based ingredients.
-Texture: This dry skin moisturizer is a special balm-like consistency that turns into a luxurious serum when applied. Great 2-in-1 moisturizer and serum product.
- Heal Skin Problems: Helps soothe a range of concerns, including eczema, acne, rough texture. Noncomedogenic, hypoallergenic, won't clog pores.
- Multi-Uses: Our organic facial moisturizer can also be used as an eczema treatment, face mask, on dry cuticles, cracked heels, the uses are endless.
- Directions: Rub a pea-sized amount between palms, then gently massage into the skin (more as needed).
*Take care when opening container as product may have softened or liquified in hot climates. Using product in this state does not hinder its hydrating properties. To re-solidify, simply place in refrigerator for 24-72 hrs.
My Thoughts
When my sample arrived, the moisturizer has melted because of the heat. I placed it inside the fridge as instructed, and true enough, it has solidified within 24 hours. It has a fruity and somewhat floral scent that I like. It is pleasant and not overpowering.
The moisturizer made my dry skin "luminous" and well hydrated. Its hydrating power lasted the whole day and I just love how it made my skin feel soft and smooth.
Overall, this is a great product. If you are looking for a moisturizer to keep your skin plump and hydrated, this is a good product to try. I would recommend though that you use it in the evening as it tends to make your skin look shiny.
Where to buy?
You can purchase the Organic Ultra Hydrating Face Moisturizer through Amazon.
