We are grassroots activists, environmentalists, advocates for social justice, nonviolent resisters and regular citizens who鈥檝e had enough of corporate-dominated politics. Government must be part of the solution, but when it鈥檚 controlled by the 1%, it鈥檚 part of the problem. The longer we wait for change, the harder it gets. Don鈥檛 stay home on election day. Vote Green.
Everything we do is based on our four pillars:
Our country's long wars and worldwide military presence are immoral and unsustainable. Our military budget must be cut dramatically.
The human cost of climate change is too high. We need to get off fossil fuels and on to renewable energy.
Falling wages and rising bills are hitting most of us, and the most vulnerable are hit the hardest. We demand a living wage and a real safety net.
We demand public financing of elections, open debates, and more representative voting systems.
...and our ten key values

March and Speakout to Resist Deportations
Boston, MA 鈥 We write in solidarity and ask that you join in the resistance movement. This past week has been particularly difficult and challenging with the inauguration of President Trump and the slew of executive orders he has issued. We have seen the North Dakota and the XL Pipelines authorized again, the wall at the U.S. Mexican border ordered, funding denied for sanctuary cities, mortgage relief denied to home owners of modest income, and efforts to repeal the Affordable Care Act underway. The impact these actions will have on disenfranchised andmarginalized communities and our environment will be huge.

Green Party condemns the "Trump Wall of Shame" and other racist executive orders targeting immigrants
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The Green Party of the United States strongly condemned President Trump's executive orders, announced on Wednesday, imposing severe immigration restrictions, expanding the criminalization and deportation of undocumented immigrants, and authorizing construction of a massive border wall between the U.S. and Mexico.
Greens urged all Americans to reject the "Trump Wall of Shame" and to stand up for the basic rights of documented and undocumented immigrants, racial justice, protected legal status and amnesty for the undocumented, and hospitality for refugees.

Green Party urges mass public pressure to reverse Trump's order approving the Dakota Access and Keystone XL pipelines
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The Green Party is calling for mass public resistance in reaction to President Trump's announcement that he is permitting the Dakota Access and Keystone XL pipelines to move forward.
"The public protests, on-site camps, direct action, citizens' lobbying efforts, and law suits that persuaded President Obama to reject the KXL and halt the DAPL must resume, with appeals for congressional action to reverse President Trump's decision," said Robin Laverne Wilson, 2016 Green nominee for the U.S. Senate in New York and co-chair of the Green Party Black Caucus.

Why I'm Green
Photo by Wendy SchreierI'm Green because I can't take the lies and the conditions anymore. Homelessness while there are empty houses, prisons built while schools close, children being shot down on our streets by police, mothers losing their children to the state because they don't have water in their homes and can't afford the water bill. My friends and family cant afford to wait anymore to try and change the Democratic Party .People who can wait are not familiar with our reality.
The one party system is killing our people and it's high time we stand up and say something, and more importantly, change it. It can't change unless we break with the corporations' money and that's exactly what the Green Party is doing. It stands up to dirty money and puts forward the vision of the world we want to live in. We can't wait any more. Building our party now will help to ensure a future for all of our children and generations to come.-Cheri Honkala
When it comes to the interests of Latinx and other people of color, Greens have the best platform in American politics. State by state, Greens are advocating fairness, economic justice, and respect鈥攆or all Americans. In recent years many Black and Latinx activists have left Democratic or independent politics, to become Green candidates and party leaders. In my home state of Rhode Island, Greens are active in grassroots movements to end racial profiling and police brutality, protect immigrants' rights, end deportations, and achieve a path to citizenship. I'm Green because from what I can see, the world's only real chance to survive, is through politics grounded in Ecology, Equality, Democracy, and Peace鈥攊n other words, Green politics. The mainstream parties are both controlled by big business, and can't help us now. In fact, they're working together against us. Isn't it time you joined the Greens?-Tony Affigne
Photo by Wendy SchreierI'm Green because I still have hope. Despite all of the pollution, racism, corporate control, money in politics, incarceration -- the list goes on and on -- I still have hope that it can change. I believe it takes a small band of people -- in communities all across the globe -- that stand up and say "enough is enough." The Green Party is that small band and we are ALL across the globe.
I am Green because I am not just voting on Election Day. I'm involved all year long and I'm "voting with my feet" by walking away from the corporate-controlled Democratic Party and into the Green Party, where grassroots political action rules the day.
Most social movements in this country started small and faced impossible odds. Yet if it can be done. I am Green because I have hope for our small band to grow into a mighty wave.
-Hillary Kane
