Welcome to the EU ENERGY STAR Programme
The ENERGY STAR label represents a level that any environmentally conscious manufacturer wants to meet.
The EU ENERGY STAR programme follows an Agreement between the European Community (EU) and the Government of the US (PDF) to co-ordinate energy labeling of office equipment. It is managed by the European Commission. US partner is the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), that started the scheme in the US in 1992 (European Council decision PDF 97kb).
The EU ENERGY STAR database lets you pick the most energy efficient models, within the group of ENERGY STAR qualified office equipment under the newest active specifications.
Please use the products menu to navigate per category of products by using the menu and
filters and view relevant products per category and subcategory.
The current lists of all qualified products available in the EU can also be downloaded in CSV file format. Products registered under previous the ENERGY STAR specifications can be found in the Archive section.
Registration and submitting products
Office equipment manufacturers who want to register their ENERGY STAR qualified equipment, as well as large institutional and private business buyers or retailers interested in promoting energy efficient office equipment, can find information on the benefits of becoming an ENERGY STAR Partner here. Only ENERGY STAR programme participants may submit new product data in the database using XLSX files.
