Former and serving Defence personnel who were exposed to toxic jet fuel during their careers are calling on authorities to review their approach to compensating those who contract blood cancers. Childhood cancer deaths to be lowered under Australian-first program

An Australian-first program aiming to eliminate childhood cancer deaths is being launched today, aiming to increase childhood cancer survival rates from the current 80 per cent to 100 per cent. Read more Developed by the Children #8217;s Cancer Institute and Sydney Children #8217;s Hospital, the聽program will begin next year with a pilot study of 12 children and expand to a national clinical trial involving 120 children in 2017.
