One of the fork seals are leaking bad and tbh there is prob no oil left but when your broke there is feck all you can do.
I rang around and the price was around 170 to get the seals done so I hit the Credit union and bought a set of forks for 120sterling and there perfict just need a seat of dust covers for 7 cuid on ebay,
After I will do the seals on the old forks myself and either keep them or sell them.
I bought a new custom seat with a nice hump in the rear they are like 360sterling new and I got it for 110.
Next is a new paint job and going for black , spoke to Ger from C amp;C today and will get it done this side of christmas,... [Read More]

Intermot been and gone, much debate over the new fireblade ( but we still are waiting for one more version ). New GSXR1000, my show favourite of Intermot.
Kawasaki seem to have been glazed over, nobody really made much of a song and dance about their new bikes. New versions of the Suzuki VStrom look ok to me.

Elite athletes #8217; memories perform 20% better than average under intense psychological pressure according to a study commissioned by Dunlop Tyres in conjunction with University College London. The study included Isle of Man TT legend John McGuinness, double BTCC Champion Colin Turkington and ELMS racer Oli Webb and revealed that the elite athletes #8217; superior memory allowed them to stay in control even during tests which artificially invoked stress and anxiety within the brain.

raquo; Aprilia RSV4 Factory Advice / Tips
Oct 17, 2016 - 12:31 PM - by ajhampto
Hi Folks,
I'm doing some research into getting a 1000cc bike and the Aprilia RSV4 is top of the list at the moment. However, I was reading about the pre-prod bikes having con rod issues and also, the sprag clutches can give issues.
In general, is Aprilia build quality good? The bike would be used for weekend spins only and the VERY odd commute on a glorious summer day.
Budget is less than 9k, so BMW S1000's etc are out of the question, and I like to try some exotica. Also, I had a VFR before and love the sound off a V4.
Any thoughts / tips / advice is greatly appreciated,
Thanks for reading,

raquo; Travel Insurance for Asian bike trip
Oct 15, 2016 - 12:06 PM - by roryf
I am heading to Thailand with Overlanders at Christmas on one of their organised bike trips - needless to say looking forward to it..
I am looking for any company that provides travel insurance which covers larger motorbikes (~500 cc or so); most travel insurance policies that I have seen limit this activity to 50 cc or so. Anyone know of an insurance company that provides this cover..?
